This summer at MCA was truly unforgettable! Over six incredible weeks, our campers dove headfirst into adventure, education, and community, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We proudly report consistent full participation weekly, showcasing our campers' remarkable enthusiasm and commitment.

Celebrating New Milestones
This year marked several significant achievements. We proudly welcomed our first-ever paid staff member, alongside two dedicated adult volunteers and two enthusiastic youth volunteers, whose contributions were invaluable to the camp.

Inspiring Partnerships & Exciting Field Trips
Our campers enjoyed fantastic opportunities for learning and growth through dynamic partnerships and engaging field trips. Highlights included collaborating with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, and visiting the UF Research Center in Belle Glade. An essential visit from Drowning Prevention also equipped campers with vital water safety skills, empowering them to enjoy Florida's waterways safely.

Mastering Outdoor Skills
Throughout the camp, our participants gained hands-on experience in various outdoor activities. They learned archery techniques, with the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge generously setting up targets for the youth to practice shooting, an activity they thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, campers explored conservation principles and essential details about water flow and ecosystem dynamics. The children also became proficient in tying fishing knots, and every camper proudly caught at least one fish this summer—a highlight celebrated by all!

Heartfelt Thanks to Our Supporters
A special thank you goes out to our incredible supporters, whose generosity made this enriching experience possible. We sincerely thank our primary contributors: Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and Florida Crystals. Additional thanks to U.S. Sugar, Florida Power & Light, K&M Electric Supplies, the City of Belle Glade, the City of South Bay, Boost Mobile of Belle Glade, the H.E. Hill Foundation, and many others whose invaluable support made our success achievable.
